Please note the next monthly meeting will be held on Monday, 14^th September, 2009 in the Eastbourne Complex. Meetings are open to all members. The Club would also like to invite parents of Junior Athletes to these meetings to hear their views.

Subscriptions for the year April 2009 to April 2010 should now have been paid PLEASE NOTE ANY MEMBER WHO HAS NOT PAID THEIR SUBSCRIPTIONS IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE FOR THE CLUB AND DO NOT HOLD A VALID ENGLISH ATHLETICS REGISTRATION NUMBER IN ORDER TO ENTER EVENTS. A big thank you for all members who assisted at The Darlington Pitstop 10K on Wednesday, 8^th July at Croft Circuit the event could not take place without your assistance. Special thanks to John and Steve. We had a very successful evening with the highest entry yet

The last meeting of the year was held at on the 29^th July, thank you to all athletes and officials who made the journey to Wakefield. In the u17M Long Jump Dmar Bari obtained a Grade 4, in the u15G 75mh Iona Richings achieved a Grade 4 and Erin Richings reached a Grade 4 in the u13G 70mh. Unfortunately the Club will be demoted as we were unable to cover all age group events.

Well done to Lorna Goldsmith who just missed a place in the 100m Junior Ladies final, running 12.50 in the heats.

Cost for entry to this league is £5.00 for veterans, seniors and under 20, £4.00 for under 13, under 15 and under 17. This amount covers all seven races, so please keep your number for the season. Collect and pay for your season number at the first meeting on the 11^th October at Croft Circuit.
